'I love making things, both paintings and other art objects, but I'm absolutely hopeless at sticking to one thing. Once I can see whether an idea works or not I want to move on and explore other ideas, other artforms. Having said that, I do find I come back to the same themes over and over again, like grids and a certain sort of landscape which seems to revolve around a kind of nostalgia about now.'
